Privacy
This page is about askwing.co, the website — the page you are reading and the waitlist form on it. Wing the product is not open yet; when it is, it will have its own privacy terms covering what the assistant does on your behalf, and they will be linked here.
We store one thing: the email address you type, plus which of the two forms you used and the date. That is the whole record. No name, no IP address, no fingerprint of your browser.
It is held in a database run by Supabase, in a project used for nothing else. We use it for exactly one purpose: to write to you when a place opens in the private beta. There is no newsletter, and the list is not sold, rented, shared or handed to anyone.
To be removed, write to us and say so — no form, no account, no reason needed. You will get a reply confirming it is gone. If you would rather see what we hold first, ask for that instead.
We count visits, using Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, which is why this page has no cookie banner to dismiss — there is nothing to ask you about. The script is served from this domain and reports back to it; no third party is involved.
What it records is the page you are on, the site that sent you, your country, and whether you are on a phone or a computer. Your IP address is used to work out the country and is not stored. There is no identifier that follows you between visits, so we cannot tell a returning visitor from a new one, and we cannot connect a visit to a waitlist signup.
This used to be Google Analytics behind a consent bar. Cookies you have to be asked about are a poor way to open a page about staying in control of your own data, and the numbers below are all we actually needed.
The typefaces come from Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google for them and Google sees the request. There is no way to use a hosted font without that, and the alternative — serving them ourselves — is on the list.
The contact form reaches someone who can actually answer — about this page, the waitlist, or having your address removed.
